help

I just got a shock on the door handle of our 2619 TM. I was barefoot, standing on the lawn in our backyard. We had the TM AC and refrigerator on preparing to go out camping. The AC went out. We unplugged the TM from the electrical extension cord from the house and then of course I did not get a shock. Is the AC ruined? What is the problem? Can we fix it?
HELP!
