Default Rear shell light shutoff

I finally found it!! In my TM, the rear shell light shutoff is not controlled by the bathroom wall, but the bed platform. I had the bed pushed all the way into the TM (as when you're going to break down) and I shined a flashlight under the bed platform and viola! There was the silver button on top of the structure underneath the bed. When the bed is pulled out, there's a little white box looking thing (I couldn't get a picture of) on the underside of the bed near the front that will depress the silver button down. Mystery finally solved. Now, no clue how I could ever reach either part of this mechanism should I need to be able to do so. Looks like I'd have to take the bed apart.

our TM when the bed is all the way back the switch is in front of the bed and the upper part of the bathroom wall depress the switch. So if I have the selt up, but not bath room wall, I por a heavy lead weight on it to have rear lights. I would think a brick would do.

I believe most are like that where the bathroom wall depresses the button/switch. For whatever reason, TM seemed to be trying a different design when mine was built.

Does it work? What depress the switch to turn it on?

Yep, it works as long as I really slam the bed into place when setting up TM. There's a little white box on the underside of the bed that slides over the button and depresses it. But, I see no way to get to either the silver button or the little box without taking the bed apart. While the concept makes sense I just wish it had been designed where I can get to it. Am curious if anyone else on our forum has this same design.
