Cynthia...I read your post earlier and could not figure out what latch you meant. I just got home from work and reread the whole thread...and I will be happy to take a pic of the latch on my 2007 TM and post it for you. BRB.

Just read through this post with interest - concerning chocking the wheels - I ALWAYS chock both wheels on both sides (and this was with my 2000lb popup!). I don't want my trailer moving around in wind or on a slight grade. Also, I found some solid rubber chocks at Harbor Freight. They should solve the problem of the lightweight yellow plastic chocks slipping when the trailer is on the plastic levelers (Legos my wife calls them! )
As for the door latch - we saw it at the RV show in January as a new addition to the '08 models - but could have been on the '07 as well. I liked it so much, I had the dealer add it to my '03 model. We'll see how it works when we take our first trip out. I'll report back. I'll also report back my experiences leveling the trailer.

The new style latch concerns me a little. With the old latching system, if the front shell sags a little towards the front, then the top door rides up some when closed, due to the non-ideal alignment. I can see where my door "rides" a little up and down as I open and close the door. I don't know if the new style latch allows for this or not....it doesn't appear so.

Both ends of my TM appear to sag some....maybe from age or use?? I might do Denny A's shell adjustment to correct this minor problem.
