Default Determining build configuration using a VIN

I purchased a 2011 2720sl in October of 2011. Thanks to our wonderful
Saskatchewan weather we did not get a chance to go through it. I am wondering
if there is a place to go to find out what our TM came equipped with(water tank
size, etc) Is there a place i can, put in my serial number and find out specific information. All the literature that came with the new trailer does not give all the
specifics i am looking for.

Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.

As far as I know, there is no way to identify an option lineup, given a VIN or whatever. But unlike automobiles, which I think you are thinking about, TM trailers pretty much have a standard configuration, and there are very few options. Check out the Trailmanor website, and click on Showroom > Features to see what I mean. The Standard Features list is long. Although the options list has grown recently, it is still short. As near as I can tell, the only options are
  • air conditioner
  • awning
  • TV antenna or dish antenna
  • swing tongue
  • rear bumper hitch
  • solar panels
  • tongue jack
  • microwave
  • over-sink and/or over stove cabinet
  • stove cover
All of these are quite apparent to the eye - there really aren't any "hidden" options.

Default Ed at TM might know

By using my VIN, Ed at the factory was able to tell me that I had a Reliable axle instead of a Dexter axle. He may have some of the info you desire in a database.

Thanks for clearing this up. I was mostly interested in the water tank capacity,
I believe i have the standard 20 gallon. Again thanks for the quick replies.

A 2720SL has a 20-gallon fresh water tank under the sink. There is is not much place - I can't think of any, actually - to add another tank. You might cross check your rig against this old OLD thread - be sure to read down at least as far as post #9, where an earlier error is corrected.

I have the 2720 with a 40 gallon water tank.

I take an additional 44 gallons with me. 3-8 gallon containers and 2-7 gallon containers.

Plus 2 cases of bottled water.

This will allow 5 adults to spend a 3-4 day weekend with no hookups.

Including showers every other day and a sponge bath in between, we consume approximately 5 gallons of water per day per person, not counting the bottled water.

Default Fresh Water Tank size

On the inside of one of your cabnet doors is a trailer weight infomation sticker it will tell you the size and weight of the water you have ( 6 gal. for hot water heater ) and either 20 or 40 gal tank .
