Default traveling with trailmanor covered

Anyone cover their TM while traveling as a way to keep dust from getting in and keep road dirt and tar from messing up the exterior? I don't have a decent cover yet, but I wonder if one is available suitable for traveling.
thanks

You're not going to find any typical RV cover suitable for towing. They barely stand up to wind with the TM parked.

A cover would just rip up and where it flapped against the TM, might actually do more harm than good. I actually think a cover wouldn't last even one trip on a covered TM being pulled.

On our trip from Florida to Alaska and back, We found that several old towels stuffed around the lower folded door was a major deterent for dust infiltration! We would open the upper shell door and place the towels and close back and latch! As for exterior, I cleaned the tar and road film off with mineral spirits and found minimal dings!

I've been happily surprised by how little gets in while towing. Sure, a little dust, but it's a once over with a damp rag kind of thing.

Real surprised about rain performance. We have towed thru some real rain with nary an issue.

We tow mostly 4 hrs and less, but have gone St Louis to Mackinaw City and back. We haven't towed over gravel roads for any distance more than a big campground.

Each fall I wash the interior of the TM. This means removing all contents of drawers and cabinets and wiping anywhere I can get my hand.

It is amazing how much dirt/dust accumulates on the floor under the drawers in one season.

This was even back when the only places we went off of paved roads was in campground loops. Now that we boondock more often I wonder what I will find.

Interesting, we have been in some 'dark places' in ours and have been amazed at how much isn't accumulated. Maybe our meters are calibrated different :=)
