Not any harder than saying Yamaha WR250R. Ever try to explain what DS (aka Dual Sport) is? I just tell them that it is a street legal dirt bike. Lousy dirt bike. Lousy street bike. Good as a combo.

My wife call the Lexus SUV Lexi. We both refer to the GMC as Jimmy.

When we only had one truck we could say "The truck". Now that we have two trucks that no longer works.

No name for the TM, or any other vehicle we have ever owned.

When we were in the Boy Scout Explorers we had a 1948 Willys Jeep. It was a gutless wonder and was painted red. It was called Red Dog.

I'm ordering removable decals to name ours "Hobbit House". We thought about "FarAwayHome" (Bill, I'm sure you know where that came from) and "RMutHut" (which was the license plate on our Bounder, but that was just for the dog we bought our first RV for, who is now in dog heaven). Whenever we look at it, Hobbit House just seems to fit (we kind of look like Hobbits anyway ).

How about Seitch Tabor. I'm not sure how you would pronounce it.

But I am saving it for when we buy a summer home in the mountains.

We recently decided to name ours the 'Kennel Kamper', because it's really just a big doghouse that we take with us on trips

I was out west last year and saw a Chuck Wagon. Seeing that it carried Food, Water, and you would sleep in it. I named my unit Chuck Wagon..

Yep - it's named! We're brand new to the TM world - took delivery a couple of weeks ago and it's not been out of the driveway yet. It's been waaaaaayyyy too hot here in Northern AL to venture out. We'll do our first outing soon - but first I gotta' learn to back the silly thing into a space! LOL

Before we ever joined (or even started reading) the TM Owners Forum, and before I had ever seen any of Wayne's (HarveyRV) posts - my wife had decided our new TM would be named "Harvey the RV." Not very original, I know - and I'm sure that one has been used a LOT; but we thought it was cute. So Wayne, if you ever read this post, you have another namesake!

I did see a boat once and the name across the back was "The BofA and I", where BofA, of course, is Bank of America.

Apparently the boat was financed.

Default "Jacques"

Hello Folks-

Gee, this is my first post, and I don't even own a TM. But, I think they're neat, and I love the names on this thread.

Had to share...we had a Peugot once we named Jacques, as in the Undersea World of Jacques Peugot.

OK, so it's corney!

Mark
