Default After Market Bike Receiver hitch?

Has anyone installed a non Trailmanor bike receiver hitch on their TM (with storage bumper)? We got ourselves in a time crunch with wanting to leave on our trip before we could get a Trailmanor hitch sent to our local dealer. Appreciate your inputs.

TrexHunters -

As I recall, you have a reasonably new TM, which means you do NOT have the 4-inch square bumper. I'm not sure how the hitch is attached on the new TM, but I don't think the bumper itself is strong enough to handle it. I'm thinking it is on some sort of cross bar that is attached to the rear end of the frame rails. Others may have better info.

Why not add a signature to your profile, mentioning the year and model of your TM and your tow vehicle? It helps you get better answers.

It's an '08 3124kb. Hopefully, it shows up on the signature now.

Apparently it's a custom receiver fabricated by TM that bolts to the frame. I wish I had known that when I made the deal on the trailer. After paying for the receiver, shipping and labor it's almost 3x the cost of the average receiver.

Oh well. Live and learn. I'm doing a lot of that recently.

Default I have the same TM - can you tell me what you ordered?

I have an '08 3124 KB. What part did you order for the bike rack mount, and did you then buy a non-TM hitch mount bike rack? I have 2 bikes to carry.
Thanks for any info you can give me. By the way, I sent an e-mail to the TM parts dept over a week ago and have not received a reply.
