Default 2002 Dodge Ram 1500??

I am looking at a used 2000 3124KS, My towing capicity is 5450 pounds
tongue weight is 500lbs. I will have to travel to pick the trailer up and was wondering if a WD hitch would be necessary. It is a 2wd, SB truck. Has anyone else used this combo?? Thanks

You will need a WD hitch. Other than that it looks to me like you a have a good combo. You might consider a camper shell or other bed cover for all those other things that seem to go with camping.

They should ship with the trailer and should not get in the way unless you are trying to load bikes or something after the truck and before the TM, Even then I don't think it would matter much if you are using the same hitch for both.
