Anyone have tips on closing air gaps under door and on the slides?

I have not found a way to close the gap under the door, especially at the ends, so I made a light canvas tube and filled it with clean fine gravel / coarse sand. I lay it on the floor in front of the door, where it blocks the gap.

You may be able to close up the side gap by removing the square aluminum flip-up bar, turning it over, and drilling a new hole for the pin. Drill it at a location that will push the gap closed. I say "may" because this gap is really sensitive to how well the trailer is leveled. The shells tends to float just a bit toward the downhill side, which opens the gap on the uphill side. If the gap bothers you - and it would on a cold night - you could carry a strip of thick, fluffy cotton cloth and a 4" plastic putty knife to stuff the cloth into the gap.

Let us know if you invent a better method.

Ya, got some 2 1/2" foam that I can stuff in there. The Velcro should hold it tight, but it was coming loose when we bought the TM 2 weeks ago. Gonna replace that first and see if it will keep it tight. May just attach the same type foam at bottom of door.

In regards to the bottom door seal. I had the same problem on our original TM. We found that when closing up the TM's door for travel there was a way to reverse/invert the seal. After pulling the door assembly out of the wall clip and swinging the double hinge unit to the inside, reach down and pull the front edge of the bottom seal inwards/upwards and slowly push the door inward. This allows the seal to store in the opposite direct versus how it would lay normally. After we started doing this, the door seal sort of reshaped and then would seal the bottom of the door when in use.

Default L bracket

Our 2720 QS had the same problem. I added a length of “L” bracket to the underside of the door against the rubber seal – the metal doesn’t drag on the floor but helps the rubber to provide a better seal when the door closes. There was still a bit of gap on both sides where the factory put some “bristle brush” material. I glued some foam pieces that help to reduce these gaps on each end. While these fixes are far from air-tight they greatly reduced the number of mosquitoes that get in and more permanent than other options we tried.
