Default 2004 3023 roof seal

Hello All I have a 6 inch long crack in the fabric of my roof seal. Would a automobile upholstery shop replace my seal or who should I contact one of the Trailmanor dealers, they are all a few hundred miles from me and do you have an idea what it will cost. Any suggestions are appreciated. I am going to sell the camper but I want it in good condition when I do.

These things are called "bag seals". If you do a Search on that term, you will find lots of good info and discussion. Here is a particularly good link.

I seem to recall that you can get replacement fabric directly from the Trail Manor factory, but there is a fair amount of effort involved in forming/stuffing/stapling them. One of our members did a small repair using Flex Seal. You could do a Search on that as well.

Thank you Bill the flex seal may be a possibility but my concern is a prospective buyer may not be comfortable with it.

I agree, though it may be better than an open gash. I think the member I am remembering sewed the gap together, then used Flex Seal paint, rather than than the thick goop. Still not very pretty. The factory should be able to help.

[Found the post I remembered. It was by Wrenchami, and is located at
