Default Rejetting Yamaha EF2400if generator

I've found that our Yamaha runs longer and stronger on a tank of fuel when it is properly jetted. I was going to remove the +7,000 ft jet in the next week or two (I've got a few other projects to complete first), and replace it with the sea level jet. If anyone is interested -- I could post photos of the process. It's very easy.

Let me know if there's any interest. I'd be happy to share the information.

We can run our AC with our EF2400i with no problem. I am all for being able to run it a bit longer before running out of gas. I am interested in your information .

I've actually run our TM's AC with our Yamaha at 8500 ft "without" rejetting. But it's way more fuel efficient and less apt to bog and trip the breaker when the AC is first turned on -- if the air/fuel mixture is better regulated for the altitude. I wouldn't bother with changing jets but it's so easy. I'll see if I can get to it this weekend but I can't promise. But I'll shoot photos as I go & explain "step by step" what I'm doing. I'll post later on this same thread.
