Default Plastic Molding Strips on Ceiling Falling

I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. The plastic strips covering the wiring on the ceiling keep falling down. I've snapped them back in place several times, but they just kept falling. Finally, I put a bead of calk on each side of the strips and glued them into place. I'm not the most handy person in the world and it looks kind of messy. It's obviously a "done it myself" repair. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how you solved the problem.

Thanks,

Jim

I fixed the one on the ceiling of the front shell. I removed the strip, applied a small amount of JB Weld to the wires and held them in place with sticks (boondocking) till cure was sufficient. Then put a dab of JB Weld at the ends and center of the strip and held it in place till cured. Its still in place and has held for the remainder of the Phoenix summer. Now I have to do that to the one over the rear bed.

Jim,
I had (have) the exact same problem. After setting up the last time we went out, I opened the door to find the plastic strip laying on the bed/floor. I tucked the wires back up under it, and somehow managed to get it to barely hang on. The plastic strip doesn't seem to fit the metal track very well. So far, only the front strip has fallen. If it falls again, I think I'll try the JB Weld trick, or maybe a small dab some clear, two part epoxy might be less noticeable.
