Rick,
Your deck screw-up-into-the-wall description sounds exactly what my RV repairman did on 2 of the bracket repairs, and the other one involved the attached steel bar underneath the camper with the bracket then attached to the bar. I will keep the through-the-floor bolts secured from the inside with washers and nuts in my mind as another option. Maybe I just need to stop worrying, back off, and enjoy camping. Hopefully, these repairs will hold and things will be just fine.
