older curtains
I purchased a trailer from an insurance company without curtains. I called trailmanor for the plastic track tape that goes on the curtains and was told that it was no longer available. So I went looking for a replacement and came up with a system by Sailrite. It uses a plastic snap that fits right in the trailmanor track and a webbing strip with snaps that you can sew to the curtains. Part # 100911 for the tape and #10221 for the snap on carrier.

Hi again
looked those up , nice site, found the part 100911, but are you sure on the number 10221? I take it that is the snap on slid?
But you are right, that sure does look like a good replacement part
you say it does fit into the older tm tracks?

I had considered using these before. They are also carried at http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/ but the price you found is better!
I have previously had trouble sewing on curtain tapes. I could not find a foot even a zipper foot that would work correctly with out hitting the glide on the tape. So I googled around tonight trying to figure out how it would work with a snap tape. I found a video...looks like a commercial machine but I may check further into this.\
BTW it is a Sailrite video.

Thanks.
Thanks for the link, Country Girll. I've never seen a 'roving zipper' foot in over 70 years of sewing! Have to look that one up! Our curtains are looking a bit tired and haven't been too enthused about doing anything about it, but this may be the spark! Olga

Olga do you think that would fit a home sewing machine like a singer or brother?
