Default Ever Order New Curtains?

We just bought a new-to-us 2006 3124KB. It's been well taken care of, but definitely used and enjoyed. The curtains and valences are old, faded, and sun damaged. I'd like to order a whole new set of curtains and valences. Anyone ever done this? #1) How much can I expect this to cost? (approximately)
#2) Since one is supposed to go through a dealer rather than TM, can anyone suggest a dealer who has actually done this (ordered curtains) for them? There are no dealers anywhere close to us.

If you search the forum, there are a lot of discussions on the curtains for older models. I believe TM quit using the tape system that fits the old rails, so you have to find something that will work in it's place, or go to the whole new rail and curtain system. I had the same issue when I purchased my 2720SL last fall, and decided to go with mini blinds instead. (there is a thread called Goodbye curtains, hello mini blinds that gives excellent instructions). I modified it a little as I removed all the valances (except on the end windows) and both sets of rails. I love the look, they're easy to clean and cost right around $100 for the project.
If you want to see what the cost of replacements would be, Custom RV will order and ship parts anywhere in the country, the number is (714)630-8410. I have gotten very good customer service from them.

BTW - I grew up in Albuquerque, NM.

Seeing as curtains are obviously going to get exposed to the sun and fade over time, I'm a little surprised TM doesn't make it easy to replace a whole set. ...Just sayin.

Do you recall what you paid for the curtain set? I spoke with TM this week and was told a replacement set was around $1200.

They will make the curtains with the type of slides you need. They have the prices here too.

A week or two ago I was quoted $100 for each of the bed curtain halves.

Smile New curtain form TrailManor

Hi VIHCBR,

I bought new curtains for my 2000 3124 KB from the TrailManor factory before they moved to Nebraska. The cost was a little less than $700, but they discounted it some because my order got messed up. This was curtains for all windows, tie backs, valences, top and bottom tracks. The factory # is 423-563-6685 and asked for parts. I ordered from Todd, but he left the company when it moved to NE. I order the 2015 style and left off the arched valence, because it clashed with the couch. I am very happy with how they turned out. I also painted the ceiling, walls. and replace the cove moulding around the ceiling. I would like to recover the couches now to better match the curtains. It made DW happy too!

Good luck,
Gene
