Default 2006-2007 Trailmanor 2720 or 3023 dealer pricing

Hello Folks!

I am trying to decide between the 2720 or 3023 (depending on which fits in my garage...) but am wondering how much to fight with the dealer on price. What is a fair discount off of the MSRP? Is it the 20-30% like the "normal" TT's I have read about?

Thanks for any help and I hope to see you down the road!

I went down the 3023 path because of the layout and openness, with only a few pounds more of GWV. The 3023 also has larger wheels, and a higher rated axle. All the TMs are very similar in capabilities, it really comes down to what floor plan really works for you.

Oh, yeah. This was a custom order and the RC Dealer was a failry large one that actually specialized in in the big rigs (luxury coaches).

Thanks for your input. 15-18% sounds a little more in line. I've heard of good things with the Trailmanor line. I hope all works out. Thanks for all of your help.

See you down the road!

I would have gone with the 3023 if it fit better in the garage. It would have fit, but just fit with way too much configuration of all my othr stuff. The standard 2720 is an ok compromise.

Those are my thoughts after measuring my garage. Besides my garage door being 7'11" wide, it would pretty much back all the way in to the interior garage door. I might have to move my shed and back it into my yard through the lift out section of fence.

How many folks do you travel with? I have 2 small kids and my wife. We also have 2 dogs. Is it a comfortable setup? Does it tow as easy as advertised? You are towing with a 4x2 Avalanche. I have a 2003 4x4 Tahoe. How does it work with your Avalanche?

Thanks again for the help!!

Myself, my wife, 15, 17 year old boys, one smaller dog will be the group. If I had less stuff in my garage or room on the side of the house to store, I would have gotten the 3023. As for towing, I have yet to tow. Still 4 weeks or so form coming in. If you have a 4x4 Tahoe, don't worry. It will tow fine. People are towing these things with V6 minivans and doing OK, so your Tahow will be more than adequate. My dilemna now is whether or not I need a WDH hitch. Some folks say yeah, other say nay.

Default Wdh

We feel more comfortable having the extra security of a WDH. Our rig is a Nissan Titan which will tow 9500#'s.

Just FYI my good friend had 3 Titans.... only towing 8000#. They did not last. But, they are certainly OVERKILL for any Trailmanor. His experiences with it have made me avoid them.
