No power to the jack- electric jack not working

Cant get the power jack to work on what used to to be our trailmanor. They were able to get it work went they picked it up from our place by popping the trailer back up and plugging into shore power. They are getting ready to take itoutontheir first camping trip and they just tried to do the same thing and now the jack doesn't work at all. They traced the wire from the battery to the jack and it isn't working, they traced wires from the battery to underneath the trailer and they work. It worked fine for us when we came back from our last trip with our truck. They have a Cadillac SUV ish type of vehicle. Any idea of what is wrong and why we can't get the jack to work? We are completely stumped and feel bad we can't help them due to our lack of experience.

There's an inline fuse for the hot line coming from the battery to the jack -- it should be checked to make sure it's not blown. Also, the ground/return from the jack to the battery isn't a wire, it's through the frame. Do you, by any chance, have the swing hitch? If so, you may not have a good enough connection back to the battery/ground to allow the jack to function. Some have attached a ground wire to cross the "gap", others have tried sanding away any paint for a better connection at the hinge pin for the swing. I, personally, have not had a connection issue, but I know others have posted this in the past.

2 things.
1st make sure you have functioning batteries. They could be dead.

2nd. If your TV is running, plug in the Bargaman to the TV and you should get power to it. Good luck.

I just use a jump box for the electric jack. Boy that thing is slow.

Make sure it is wired to the battery. Mine was wired to a fuse and if I raised it too high, it would blow the fuse. Even a 30 amp fuse.

Try plugging the trailer up to the Tow vehicle, keeping the motor running, the buyer of my TM got the hitch to work that way. for some reason it would not work with the truck turned off.

Ours was due to poor ground. Added a ground wire and no more problems in the 5 + years we had it.

Where is the inline fuse to the Electric Jack located? Is it near the Jack? Or near the battery? Thanks,

For my camper, there is a short wire from the positive battery terminal to an inline fuse, and then another short wire from the fuse that was connected to a long wire to the electronic jack.

I just had my jack go out and the problem was the fuse. The connector at the battery was nearly broken so I replaced it with a new connector. The other connector looked lousy so I cleaned that up too.

First: is this a jack installed by TM or aftermarket ? If installed by TM then Key here is "able to get it work...plugging into shore power."

That says the wiring from the fuse box to the jack is OK and the issue is either in the converter box or the battery wiring.
