The slide on our TM easily moves in and out . . . provided the unit is level. We have replaced one set of rollers, otherwise there have been no issues. The slide is free standing and floats on several sets of rollers. As such there isn't much that go wrong (mechanically).

I'm with Dick. Eight years with two successive 2720SL's, and the slide has never been sticky.

Morning Bill,

Testing my ,quote, skill and thinking. Why would you have two 2720SL's I would understand a different model??

Default Ditto . . .

Slides works every time, all the time. No problems. I lightly lube what moves on the mechanism and that it!

John -

No problem with the slide, for sure. But we put on a lot of miles each year, and I had a chance to upgrade from a 2002 to a 2006 at an exceptional price. And since the 2720SL was (and is) the perfect model for us, I couldn't pass it up.

There is a lithium food grade lubricant that works great on the rollers and preserves and keeps out the road grime, also works great on the lower front rollers and keeps them working smoothly. ya might try it.....also I agree with the balance thing too.
