Default easiest way to reduce height

I just got a 2012 2720sl. It is about about 2 inches higher than my garage door opening. Just wondering if I could easily remove the AC cowl to get it in the garage - or could I take enough air out of tires to bring it down 2 inches without damaging the tires?
