Default 2004 Trailmanor 3124KS

A 2004 Trailmanor 3124KS was just listed by Peco RV in Tucker, GA, and the pictures look good. Other than the obvious looking over all the systems, etc., is there anything else about a 2004 model that I should be aware of? Are there any defects in this particular model year that people have had issues with? The camper is 7 years old, which makes me a little nervous.

Here's a link to the site: http://www.rvtraderonline.com/listin...24-KS-98889241

The dealer is closed on Sundays, so we might go and look at it tomorrow. The price is $10,995. Is this a fair price, if the camper is in good condition? This dealer uses no-haggle pricing, so this is their firm price.

Any imput would be appreciated.

Wink Please let us other 'prospectives' know how it went.

Wish I was closer to Tucker so I could see it too.
Tell us how your inspection/visit went.
Was this dealer informed on TMs? My reading suggest that many who end up with TMs don't know much about them.

This dealer used to sell TMs, but did it half-heartedly I think, and they didn't carry them for long. The dealer has a good reputation, and we bought a PUP from them several years ago. We'll see what happens.

We bought a 2004 3023 from a private seller. Paid $12000 for it. It has 15" tires, above sink cabinet, A/C, fold away tongue, awning. Seller was asking $13500. Tires are about 2 years old. Everything is in good shape, some maintenance on our part needed to be done since the TM has been in storage since 2009. However, after looking at prices on various web sites and Craigs list, feel we paid a good price for it.
Just look things over well, make sure everything works and no leaks!! And make sure you open and set it up completely then close it. Check this forum for a check list.
Good Luck!!

It looks very clean especially the exterior. I like the 2004 model of the 3124KS because it has the regular upright propane tanks.

From the pics, it has the horizontal tanks. You will want them inspected because they are expensive.

Check the tires and see how many years and what shape they are in.

Check the hot water tank anode. Its a new unit so it is probably just fine.

Frankly I don't like the carpet. Carpet is nice on the feet but too hard to keep clean and not as durable as the tile...

Well I am a fix it guy so I bought this TM.My suggestion if your looking for a new TM maybe you should buy one. This unit is in fine condition not perfect but I looked at a some a heck of a lot worse. The TM is serving us well and people have comented over and over how clean it looks. Maybe some of the negative post on here helped me have the opportunity to purchase this one from PECO. So I thank you. Peco gave us great service and spent 2 hours going over the trailer with us after it was in their shop for two days being checked out. I did change the tires. Once again they were not new but serviceable but to be on the safe side since I wasnt sure of the age we installed new tires. Well long story short Mr. Fix it hasnt had to fix anything but I will be removing the rusty latchs , blast them and shoot fresh paint.Nothing wrong with them just cosmetics.Oh I have recently came up with a improvement for a overhead showerhead and it works great. Now I can shower hands free. The point is when you can purchase a TM unit for a third of the new price exspect to either live with a little wear and tear. We Love the 2004 TM . I would have even purchased older if it had been this clean. Our veiw point of condition of a item for sale is not always someone elses. Thanks again for your comments it probably enabled us to purchase.
