I did crimp the connectors. Still did not hold the flame. The issue I think has something to do with the selector switch.

Attached below is the wiring diagram off the top of my refrigerator.
Thanks for catching the incorrectly connected red wire coming from the interrupter. Sorry for the confusion but the fault is all mine. While working to troubleshoot the failure of my refrigerator to operate on propane mode I had removed all wires attached to the mode selector - but forgot to take a photo before doing so. I inadvertently connected the red wire to AC2 (a big error!). I did trace down my mistake by checking the wiring diagram just as you did. To avoid further confusion I will remove that photo from my post. To confirm - the red wire coming from my interrupter is connected to G3.

Now take a look at the picture I took of my ref. Hmnnn I think we found the issue so thank you for posting that picture.

Apparently the previous owner hooked up the recalled wires to the wrong tab. We never boondocked until now and could not figure out what is wrong with the ref.

I guess the good thing is that this issue made me remove the entire refrigerator and refurbish it and boy did it need it. I don't mind having to replace a few of the components that I did because after 16 years in use they needed to go. The ref. Is cleaned up and looks great. This weekend I am going to rewire it and let you know how it went. Hopefully we will boondock with a cold ref. For the first time. Lol
Here is a pic of that same control panel on my fridge. The wire is in the same place as the pic above.

Open up the selector switch. From the picture in #5, it doesn't look too complicated. Clean the contacts. If plastic parts are broken, you may be able to repair them, or fashion new.

I find it concerning they list "99 units in stock" when no one else has any available. Some of the links go to "no products listed" and others, especially links at the bottom of the page generate a "404 page not found" error.
