Default Door gap

There is a large gap on one side of the lower part of our door letting out AC and bugs in. I have tried a couple things but no sucess. Others have suggested draft tubes to block. This works, but it does not address root cause. Picture 1 is the gap. I have tried to add an extra strip to trailer, a double strip piece, added [and removed] extra staples. I have not cut the seal to allow more movement. Any suggestions?

Flip the camper back onto its wheels so it’s not downside up, gravity will pull the door towards the floor and take care of that gap.

That's not the seal I have on my camper. I believe it's supposed to be a white foam d-style seal with the flap. I would reach out to TM and see how much a replacement costs. Thought I had a decent pic from the side, but I don't.

when you can send me a picture. On the Facebook site there are a few who have the same issue, but their solution was the door draft seals.

Kidkraz- That is the seal on the new doors.

markozip- I had that problem on my door, the fix was two-fold. First, when you close up the camper, push the door inward and then swing it back into the towed position. That will set the seal so it’s facing the back of the door, which is where you want it to be when the door is set up so it seals against the camper. Second, the bigger gap on the non-hinge side was caused by the brushes on the door jamb pushing the seal away. Trim the brushes a little bit at a time until they don’t interfere. Better to make several small cuts to get where it needs to be, opposed to one big hack and taking off too much.

someone else sent me a video on pushing the sweep forward when closing up. I missed the obvious! This will reset the 'memory'. Then I will trim the brush. Thanks a lot. No road trip until Jun 18.

Shane, I was wondering if it was a newer rig. Thanks for the education.

Marko, if I can suggest add what version and year of Trailmanor you have. That would enable folks to give you better answers.
