I have had a problem with my refridgerator door comming open while in transit.

Has any one else had this problem and if so how did you remedy it?  :-/

Perhaps, like our Dometic frig., yours also has the locking pin missing from the small, oval-shaped locking mechanism at the top, left side of the door. I haven't bothered to replace or fix this piece. In the meantime we string a long elastic cord across the face of the door when towing our TM. The cord is hooked or strung through objects like handles or hinges on either side of the frig to hold it closed.

My fridge only has a little thumb latch on the top and I made sure it was latched.  It just didn't hold.

I'll try the elastic idea, or see if I can find a metal pin to put into the top.

Thanks for your hel 8)
