Actually, I locked the TM keys inside our 2720SL and my wife was able to get in the front flap fairly easily. Of course, I doubt if many ner-do-wells would even know of this as an option or would be able to fit if they did.
Another security concern is the fact that most of the trailer industry uses a single common key to open all doors with the exception of the front door. For example, the key that I was supplied with to open my exterior under couch storage in the front, my rear exterior battery compartment, and my exterior shower door lock is the same key that will open up similar doors on virtually any trailer out there...not sure why they do it this way but it's a bit disconcerting to say the least.

Owners of older TMs can retrofit deadbolts. You can search this board for help with that project. I haven't gotten around to that project yet, but it's on my list!
