Default Staying dry during setup

OK, I know, I know: you can open and shut a TM without getting the inside wet. But...

We're getting set for a 2 night shakedown trip with our 3124KS this weekend, and it has been raining like mad around here.

Given my methodical nature with new toys as well as the weather, I haven't had a lot of practice. Now comes the real deal. So - any tips for opening and closing up my TM if it's raining hard? Just follow the usual instructions, but faster? Cancel and wait for a dry weekend til I'm an old hand?

Tips appreciated.

This probably goes under the heading of a "no brainer", but you might not think of it when setting up. If there is a heavy blowing rain, there is some exposure to rain blowing in during the minimal time between extending the front half and extending the second half. So if you have a choice in a blowing rain, try to park facing into the wind. - Camp2Canoe
