Default mounting TPM booster

Just bought a tire pressure monitor in preparation for a long trip. Where on a TM should I mount the Bluetooth booster?

My system did not need a booster. I was reading the tires over 100 feet away.

Are you sure you need the booster??

Default TPM booster

I have a Tireminder 66 monitor. The manual insists on using the booster.

Guess it depends on the brand. I have a TST (Truck System Technologies) TPMS and it doesn't require a booster...works fine.

Did you ever figure it out? I have the Tireminder which insists on using the booster. It could clip to the batteries, but it says it should be between the wheels and the TV, and my batteries are at the rear. I was wondering if there is some way to use the 4-pin for power (I have a 4 and a 7 pin on the TV). Can't think how else to power it.
