I like mine. It is not perfect but I contacted the folks and told them what I considered flaws so they may have fixed them.
My unit: the holes do not line up on the swivel portion, so they made the one larger so the bolt would go through, makes it a bit loose sloppy.
The brake is marginal, but functional.
I have to tighten one bolt after each use, not a big deal, just a pain. If you tighten too much the unit will not swivel and for some reason lock tite does not get the job done.
Remember that I am using it knowing my tongue weight is over the jack's limit. I use the electric lift on the camper to raise and lower, never the screw jack with the valet. On the same thought low gear is low and I have to crank a lot to get the trailer into the garage, about a 45 foot travel in all.l I have not got the strength or stamina to use high gear as there is a slight uphill grade as well. Because of health issues I am selling my unit, I physically just cannot do the moving, setup, etc.
Would I buy another Valet, YES> It is by far the best for the price. I had an electric that cost more and would not handle a TM at all, the ones that can are too expensive! Hope this helps answer your question.
