Thumbs up No More Dropped Tailgate!

Ford, Dodge, GM & Toyota PU drivers.
I installed an EZDown lift support on my F-250. Pull the tailgate handle and let go. The gate takes about 4 seconds to open, no slamming or damage.

Do you need one or two of devices. I could not tell from the descriptions.

I note that your f-250 is a 2004 model. I do not know when they started doing this, but newer Ford trucks have a torsion bar installed in the base of the tailgate which makes it feel very light going up or down.

I think it was 2007 according to the posts on the FTE (Ford Truck Enthusiasts) site. Evidently the newer Super Duties will benefit from the EZDown according to the posts from people who have installed them.
