Default Re:Plug my TM to the Clothes Dryer Outlet

If the clothes dryer plug in question is for an electric dryer then it should be at least 220v 30a service. There should be a double set of 30a breakers in the distribution box tied together for the dryer service. You would have to purchase a duplicate of the 220v 30a four prong male dryer plug, a 115v 30a three prong female plug and some 10-3 rubber coated wire in order to make up the adapter.
The small black adapter that is usually furnished with the TM is a 115v 15a adapter. It is not intended to furnish power for the A/C from the normal house circuits. Most household circuits are 115v 15a and will not hold the load of the A/C, the fridge and the power converter. Most but not all of the RV parks furnish 115v 20a power to the 15/20a recepticles so you can use the adapter when necessary.
Do not try to run the TM A/C on an extension cord with a wire size less than 10-3. It will overheat and if tightly coiled, could catch on fire. A small wire extension cord will also reduce the power supplied to the A/C and could result in damage to the compressor motor (read new A/C here).
Speaking of coiled wires, it is suggested that you pull all of the wire out of the TM when connecting to shore power especally when using the TM A/C. There is a possibility that the stored wire could overheat and if it is coiled inside the storage area there is no ventilation to remove the heat. This could damage the cord and lead to a fire hazard.
