As promised here are the pictures. Note that the bolts have to point outwards or they will rub up against the cylinder.

Thank you for posting the pictures, very helpful for me at least. Just so that I am clear on what I'm seeing is the bracket, just forward valet and above the jack is for the WDH? I hate assuming things since it's bit me in the past.

In the last picture the item above the bright yellow is indeed the bracket for the chain to fasten on the WDH, which in turn is just behind the crossbeam of the moveable hitch.

Default update on the Trailer Valet

Clown,

I'm about to purchase a Trailer Valet and wanted to know how's yours working out for you? Is it as good as it seems?

Thanks
Kidkraz

I like mine. It is not perfect but I contacted the folks and told them what I considered flaws so they may have fixed them.

My unit: the holes do not line up on the swivel portion, so they made the one larger so the bolt would go through, makes it a bit loose sloppy.
The brake is marginal, but functional.

I have to tighten one bolt after each use, not a big deal, just a pain. If you tighten too much the unit will not swivel and for some reason lock tite does not get the job done.

Remember that I am using it knowing my tongue weight is over the jack's limit. I use the electric lift on the camper to raise and lower, never the screw jack with the valet. On the same thought low gear is low and I have to crank a lot to get the trailer into the garage, about a 45 foot travel in all.l I have not got the strength or stamina to use high gear as there is a slight uphill grade as well. Because of health issues I am selling my unit, I physically just cannot do the moving, setup, etc.

Would I buy another Valet, YES> It is by far the best for the price. I had an electric that cost more and would not handle a TM at all, the ones that can are too expensive! Hope this helps answer your question.
Dave
