Default License Plate Mount

We've just received out license plate. However, when we looked to see where we needed to attach it on our TM we found that the original mount was broken. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase a license plate mount or any other place on the TM I can mount it easily. T

You don't say where you live, but most states require it be lighted, therefore it needs to go under the Tail light that has the clear bottom and bulb to light it or you would need to add a light. Many places that supply trailer sales, have both metal and a hard rubber mount that will go under the light Sometimes you can find them in the trailer section of wally world.

Both of the tabs that extend from the light housing which the license plate screws onto finally broke on our 2720SL. I fabricated a couple of new tabs from some thick plastic I had laying around and attached them with sheet metal screws up inside the light housing. With a little judicious measuring and trimming they seem just as sturdy and watertight as the original mounts.

I ran into a similar problem as my license frame is cracked, but since it's still functional, I haven't replaced it. But as Allen eluded to, it is not your typical license plate hanger that you'll find in trailer stores. It's actually part of the base of that taillight. So to replace it, that base needs to be replaced (and re-caulked), unless the light manufacturer has come up with a work around.

Or you can do something homemade like Allen did.
