Default Suburban NT-20S Air Discharge Problem Resolved

I had never had the cover off the furnace compartment until today (2008 TM2720SD). I see that Trailmanor modified the unit to allow the air to discharge straight out the end of the unit. However, the two original side discharge ports were not covered. This results in significant hot air to be discharged under the seat (that is why the seat on that side of the dinette got so hot). I covered the two original side ports with foil HVAC tape. This resulted in at least twice the airflow (heat) into the trailer. I had always been suspicious of the low discharge flow into the trailer.

I wish I had discovered this problem before we camped in the Colorado mountains (Sylvan Lake) last week - it was quite cold in the trailer when the overnight low was in the mid 20s F.

Anyone else discovered this oversight?
