Spare tire cover (blue or chrome)

Wow! My spare tire cover is one of those vinyl jobs... I'm so jealouse!

That 'blue' plastic covering is there to protect the finish when the trailer or other part is delivered by the dealer...

Ray is correct, in that if you gently heat it, it should come off, and any adhesive residue can then be cleaned off using standard household methods.
