Default 2000 Trailmanor 3225 pop up adjustment.

How do I get the top pop up to come down about an inch on the door side. From the inside there is light coming in from the top on that side. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you in advanced. This is my first Trailmanor.

The place to start is to ensure that you are leveling your TM properly. Our door was off in the beginning because I was using the stabilizing jacks to level the trailer. That twists the frame out of whack.

level the trailer side to side with leveling blocks under the wheels, then level front to back with the tongue jack. Once that is complete you lower the stabilizers.

This was all that was needed for mine to come into alignment. Try that first before moving on to raising and lowering shells on the lift arms etc.

Let me understand.

Is it the front shell or the rear shell that is not coming down far enough? Your reference to the "top pop up" says to me that it is the front shell.

Does the problem exist when the trailer is fully open, or fully closed?

. If the latter, are you able to bring the shell down an inch if you stand in the stirrup, but it rises as soon as you take your foot out of the stirrup? In this case, you simply need to adjust the center latch downward by the required amount. This will make the shell latch at a lower level.
. Again, if the problem shows up when you try to lower the front shell, will the shell not come down any further, no matter what you do? In this case, I'm thinking that something must be binding or blocking the shell's downward travel.

If the problem exists when the trailer is fully open, then the shell may need to be lowered on the lift arm. I'm not the expert on how to do this (though I have done it), so I will wait for Larryjb to join the discussion.

Does the 3225 have a latch on the roof? Or am I thinking of the 3326?

Yes, it’s the front shell when fully open. I had to use some strong wire to put my foot in and make the top shell go down and it only move 1/8” of a inch. I have a picture of the top showing the gap. Before raising the shells I made sure the levels were at zero.

Hard to be sure from the pictures, but in your first picture, it looks like the bag seals on the roof's top right, and the right vertical side, are kaput. They look like deflated balloons - basically an empty canvas tube. The canvas tube should be filled with a length of foam, which puffs it up, or inflates it. The seals on your roof's top left may be a bit thicker, but still look pretty empty. If you poke the seal with your finger, or squeeze it in your hand, does it feel like it is filled with a nice flexible foam? It should.

In my first picture below, you can see how the bag seal has the same thickness all the way across the roof. The thickness is not zero, but is enough to fill the gap. Maybe an inch. In the second pic, you see the upper shell's bag seal is also an inch thick, and has the same thickness across the entire height of the shell wall.

Do a forum search on "bag seal" and you will find a lot of info about what they should look like, and how to fix/replace them if they need it.
