Default Fridge not cooling on propane

Has anyone had a problem with their fridge not sufficiently cooling on propane. We're getting only to 60 in the fridge and 45 in the freezer at 5 on the dial. It seems to work ok on 110. The flame looks blue but small.
We're traveling in Ca. Now so debug resources are limited
Thanks

Quick checks are to make sure there is no air blockage into and out of the back of the refrigerator. If everything looks clear then look at the burner. It should not be blocked. If you can with it cold use a safety pin to gently clean it.

There are many postings on this site and google it as this happens for a lot of reasons.

Some other causes are propane blockages, empty tank, bad regulator. If your stove works good just make sure the line to the refrigerator is undamaged.

If it works ok on 120v, than it most likely a dirty burner, dirty chimney flue, or propane pressure.

Both the 120 heating element and the propane burner should be putting out the same heat at the top of the chimney.

I have had the problem the other way 120V would not cool dow as well as propane.

You mention your traveling in CA, and I know it's pretty warm this week and next. I would turn on the extra fan to help draw out the hot air behind the fridge.

Hey Bruce...Tom here in Austin...and if you were here I could maybe help. You'll love the 55MPH speed limit out there...NOT! If you go by an RV dealer maybe they would have a fridge fan that you could stick in. Even a battery powered one would be better than nothing. They really do help a lot. Be safe and I hope you all have a great time...especially miner the wonder dog!

Ours turned out to be a dirty burner, all the slots except one were blocked with rust/scale. Got it fixed in time to trade in on the new motorhome.
