Washer in Outdoor Shower Head?

I vaguely recall a washer in the outdoor shower head. You unscrew the hose and there should be washer there, right?

If so, ours is missing, and water is spraying everywhere. Probably 'cause last winter I unscrewed the head to let it drain and lost the washer

Ah, that must have been it.

Found a nice, soft, spare washer in the tool box that I could cut down, and the problem is solved.
