Here are some better images of the stove. In the image with the top lifted you can see the tabs that are supposed to hold the assembly down circled in blue. I am thinking the best place for screws is the area marked in red but it's tight. The other shot is a better on of the top down.

Re: the upper door, I had a locksmith install a deadbolt to match the knob. This makes the TM much more secure from thieves and only cost $90.
