Default Bike Hitch Small

Has anyone had any trouble fitting items into the receiver hitch. I just ordered a hitch from the factory 250 + 25 to ship. It was a breeze to install but nothing fits into the 2 inch slot... I can't even get a hitch pin in without tapping it with a hammer. I can't imaging the paint is that thick... Has anyone else had a similar problem. I haven't ifgured out what to do yet... Grinding the inside of a 2in square hole doesn't seem like it will be fun. Any ideas are appreciated. I even tried hitting in a receiver with a 10lb slduge hammer. I really dont want to bring it to a hitch shop I already have too much money into the hitch. I'll probably send Adam at trailmanor an email too..

Default this is beyond tight...

10lb sludge I can't get it in far enough to put a pin in... lubed it up and even wire brushed the puppy... 4 different ballmounts / bike rack / hitch hauler nothing will fit... I'm thinking of beating an extension in

Default A thought

be sure to think about getting it back out before you get too far down that road...

There was more wiggle room from right to left than there was from top to bottom if that makes sense......

What I did was........

get it in as far as I could....wiggle it back out....lube it up....get it in again as far as I could......wiggle back out......and so on until it lined up...

This process took about 30 min.

Good luck!

PS - someone from TM should know about this problem
