Default bag seal cleaning and treatment

I decided to clean all my seals around the TM. I started with the shell seals then the side ones plus the flaps and rubber flaps. Now that I am done I wonder what to use to treat the seal material to help keep it clean and pliable.

Any suggestions? My thought was the stuff you buy to treat car dashboards but its not very long lasting.

I used my spa cover protectant. It is UV resistant and keeps the seals soft and supple.

Good idea, I will go to local spa shop.

I noticed a rear towing camera on your profile. Is that on the back of your TV or on the back of the TM? I have thought of putting one on the back of the trailer to help with parking. If you do have one like that, what brand and satisfaction level do you have on it?

thanks! Roger

Have two choices for a trailer back up camera: wired or wireless. If wired you need to get it from the rear module to the tongue. If wireless my experience is that a conventional wireless back up camera does not have the range to be reliable. I am now using a WiFi transmitter (tied to one of the solar panel mounts) and separate camera that seems to be working to a 7" Android tab on the dash.

I use 303 aerospace protectant - it is wonderful for anything vinyl, and is particularly good in high heat areas. It was recommended to me by a friend years ago who owned an auto upholstery shop and I have used it for my car interiors forever.

I use 303 aerospace protectant also. I think someone here recommended it to me; maybe Burquena. Kind of interesting that I washed waxed and treated the bag seals this week after returning from the Canadian Rockies.

Just finished up yesterday. DW commented on how much suppler the inside flaps were when we closed down so I could do the shell seals. It seems to work great. Someone said they are made of a material they make rafts out of and I believe that this product states it good for treating them. I think I got mine at Amazon. I don’t know what I did before Amazon and Google.

The stuff works wonders on my Jeep's soft top. Thing looks like new at 8 years old.
