ib4classics,

Glad to know you have resolved the gap when closed down - thanks for posting an update.

You may be able to adjust the enter latch point for the outer front shell to pull it down tighter. There are two bolts with nuts on each side and the latch will slide a bit. I had a gap on the curb side only and that is how I sucked that one side down.

John -

I've forgotten if we've touched on this, so forgive me if I repeat. At the time when you can see the gap, are the corner latches latched on the front corners? I suppose it is possible to crank down so hard on those latches that it levers the front of the front shell down and the rear of the front shell up. If the latches are latched, unlatch them and see if the gap closes.

Also, are you convinced that there is nothing inside the trailer that is too tall, keeping the front shell from descending all the way?

Finally, if you stand at the rear edge of the front shell and hang your weight on it, does it move down appreciably, closing the gap?

Bill, thanks for your input. The corner latches are not secured at this point. The front shell is resting on the rubber bumpers on the back of the tongue.
The highest point in the TM is the factory kitchen water faucet.
When I close the front shell it takes medium effort with my foot on the door side and on the non-door side medium effort with my hands to snug it down where it automatically locks in the center catches.
Securing the corner latches does not seem to make a difference.
