The jacks on the 2720/2011 are rated to lift 5000lbs a piece and I have been using the before mentioned method (lowering and raising the electric jack and utilizing the scissor jacks) since I owned my 2011 2720. As a matter of fact used it yesterday to fine tune my brakes but still use safety jacks under the frame near the axle as a precaution. It is also how I store the unit through our long six month winter and the jacks still work great.

I think you have posted this before, and I still don't understand what you have. Can you find a manufacturer and model number, or post a photo of one of your jacks? For as long as I have known TMs (2001), they have always had four Liftco Le-Sure Lift 24-inch crank-down jacks, each rated for 5000 pounds. It sounds like you have some drop-down jacks like those that used to installed on small pop-ups. Did you buy your trailer new, or did somebody mod it (presumably for ease of stabilizing) before you got it?

Thanks

Bill
