Excellent - I'm glad you found that thread and talked with Digger. That would be a nasty surprise.....

You might encounter frost heave-like road "artifacts" on 405 (especially northbound). There are some really nasty road/bridge transitions that are unbelievably rough when towing. However, since 405 is often a parking lot, you'd have to be traveling at 5am to be going at a speed where that could be nasty (like we often do). It's not pretty. I've learned where most of them are, and can now usually anticipate them.
