Default red snapper button

now it lights the refrig.... the high tension lead was not connected at the button, it was at the far right edge of the refer looking from the front.

now lights on one snap

note:
I adjusted the spark gap as it was a bit wide.
Also cleaned the burner with a dry tooth brush.

We are having a similar issue with ours. The fridge works on battery and electric but will not light on propane. Our stove works fine and the hot water tanks works fine so I am thinking there is an issue with the red button itself. I wanted to pull the front panel off and look at it but I can't figure out how to just get that control panel off? Is there a way or do I need to pull the whole fridge out? I REALLY don't want to pull that fridge out!

Thanks,
Jackie

You have to pull out the whole frig. It is not that hard, remove the top screw on the door and lift off the door. Remove the 6 Phillips screws down both sides of the flange on the frig. The unit should slide out far enough to see all of the controls. On some Trailmanor trailers there is a floor trim in front of the bottom of the frig. that has to be removed.
When sliding the unit back in, check in the outside access for the top curved sheet metal and make sure it is on top of the frig.

If you can light it manually and then release the button after the red needle is in the green zone, and if it stays lit, then that would indicate a problem with the red button igniter circuit.

It could be as simple as the spark is too far from the pilot flame. Try looking at it after dark, when it is easier to see where the spark is. Compare this to where the pilot flame is. Makes sure they are close enough together to work properly.

There is another way to reach the wires in question; check post #39 in this thread: http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...?t=8636&page=4
