Allen,

I presume this is the broom you are referring to:

I have one, or at least one that looks just like it at Camping World, and while I agree it is not nearly as sturdy as a push broom or even a wooden handle bristle broom, it works great in the TM, and it stores nicely in the magazine rack on the bottom of the entrance door (which I think is its best attribute). I also agree that unless you tighten up the extension handles pretty good, they will loosen during use. That's definitely a flaw, and if I found one that didn't do that, I'd buy it instead, but it's not a deal breaker.

We bought it right after we got our TM about 3.5 years ago, and we use it all the time to sweep out the TM, and on occasion, to brush off the roof. It does the job, and at $13, I'd take the chance. However, it definitely is not strong enough to sweep your driveway, or anything else along those lines.

Dave

I used to own a Janitorial company & we had Professional telescoping poles for window washing of all sizes that also could have adjustable/swivel ends so that may be a way to go although a little more expensive.

Now you could also make your own out of a straight pole by cutting it at a point & hinging it which wouldn't be all that difficult really.

Our brush is kind of like this, a really nice angle for brushing:

I keep one of these mounted in the bed of my truck. It comes with a brush that can mount vertically or horizontally:

When at home, I have used the electric Ryobi blower. It is an 18v unit, so I am thinking of getting a Ryobi cordless drill (and hopefully the blower) to have in the camper. It works quite well to clear off all the tree 'dust' (leaves, oak pollen, tree seeds) and other wind borne debris.
