Default Bike rack mount

Terry
I'm one of the persons Bill was talking about.
I solved it very easily by sending an e-mail with the picture/pictures from my IPad to my computer or android device and then was able to post more than one picture to the forum.
Like Bill said I think it's an apple thing. Apple does not get along well with non apple programs.

Well Apple people tend to be a closed society. OTOH I plug the Galaxy in to a Windows tab and first thing it asks if I want to download the new pictures. I then crop/massage/resize with LView and just attach ones I like.

Back to the thread- any pics of how TM mounts their stock receiver to the frame for the bike carrier would be appreciated. Thanks.

Moaboy, I'm assuming that the pictures I posted are of the factory way of mounting the bike rack.
unless I see something else that is known to be original welding I'm assuming that Tm does a lousy job of welding. At least it did in 2004 when MY 2720 was made.

I just picked up my WDH from the welder. He did a nice job on it.
Mecicon, here are a couple of pictures of the receiver for my bike rack welded to the WDH.

Thanks, but I couldn't really see how the bike mount connected to the frame. All I thought I saw were pics of the receiver hitch? I'd like to be sble to show a welder the connection to the underside of the frame.

It is welded onto the receiver hitch not the TV itself. When I take the hitch from the TV the bike rack receptical (sp) comes with it.
I guess a picture is worth a hundred words.

Ok thanks. So yours is a hitch mount?
I thought it was a TM factory mount on the rear of the TM.

I'm looking to add a receiver on the rear of my TM, but don't have much of a frame to tie into.
