If your concern is lack of fresh water and refilling a 20 gal tank, look into the Ultimate Water Bridge solution on this board. It's a way of replumbing the pipes which allows you to use your existing water pump to draw water from the city water connection without needing a hook up. So, you can use it boondocking or wherever.

In a nutshell, I have a 20 gal tank, and I never worry about emptying it, because it is just as easy to refill at a site as it is at a spigot.

Something to think about...
