You don't have to "jack" anything up. You just have to open your shells to adjust the bolts. There are four for each shell. Underneath- two in front, four in the middle of the TM and two at the back.
If you go under the TM and look at them it may begin to make sense.

I'm near Harrisburg (Camp Hill) if you are ever over this way.

Thanks- I will look tomorrow, and hopefully it WILL make sense! I thought I had to loosen the bolts on the bottom of the supporting arms, but can't budge them, and was afraid the shell would slide down...I would love to be able to do this myself
