I have a pair of Interstate group 24 batteries that are labeled as RV/Marine.
I usually figure that will get me through a 3 day weekend without recharging if I do not use the furnace much.
When these batteries die, I will replace them with a pair of group 27s that are deep cycle. That will give me a little more capacity. A pair of group 27s is as big as I think I can install on the tongue behind the swing away hitch and the propane cylinders.
It is not a big deal for me, since I have a generator. But I would like to only have to run the generator every other day instead of daily. And I don't think solar works well in dense forests in deep valleys very well.
