Propane Tank replacement

LOL... My "gauges" are a joke, I had one that said "E", and when I removed it from the TM it felt like there was some in there.... It was 3/4 full!

So UI dont trust the gauges at all.

The Flame King model specs show "DOT APPROVED and pre-purged for immediate fill." & "Features pre-purged and ready to fill tank". Are those who are buying these replacement tanks taking Flame King at their word, or seeking out someone who can also purge for the first fill?

I doubt UPS or FEDEX would NOT allow a used non-purged tank to be shipped. They have to be safe or they can't ship. So, yes I do trust the tank will be empty and ready for servicing.
I've had to ship hazardous items when I worked, and if you don't have all the required paperwork, reputable shippers will not accept the item.
