Default Rust starting on bed supports

Today we put the trailer up to get ready for a trip. While I was pulling the front bed out I noticed rust beginning to form on the bed supports. As of now it is just some little spots in the white paint.

I know that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". I would like to clear this up right away.

What is the best way to go about it?

Tom
